The tremendous presence of the Rocky Mountains should make them intimidating yet their beauty is gentle. This is where the inspiration for this collection of photos came from. They are meant to capture a strong and powerful animal (horse) in a way that shows their softness. In some, it is their frozen motion that creates a delicate beauty and in others it is a captured connection to a human body that expresses calmness. Composition was crucial to achieving  the narrative being told by these images.
